As a church family here at Narborough, we continue to ask that you would pray with us for the needs of this church and when these needs are met that God’s Kingdom here in this community would expand. Jesus tells us to pray that God would “give us our daily bread.” In those few words we understand that we ask for all that might sustain life. Today, would you please join with us as we pray through the points below, that God would fulfill the needs and then allow the work of the church, in this community in which He has placed us, to thrive.
- ♥ Pray that if it is the will of God, that this church would once again open on a weekly basis for worship, (as we believe it is), that He would provide someone to come in and head up the church; a Spirit filled person, capable of helping Narborough Congregational Church to move forward into whatever God intends for its future.
- ♥ Pray for the Congregational Federation to lead the right persons to this mission and to strengthen them; that they would keep heart to endeavour and know what they are to personally do, but also what is not for them to do.
- ♥ Pray for all those currently giving their time for the work of God’s Church here in Narborough.
- ♥ We also have need for someone who is willing and able to go into the community… schools… visit the elderly… touch the heart of this community.
In James 4:2 we read –
“You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives.”
As we pray into these areas, I would ask that we would go to God in humility seeking only what He wants for His church, leaving our own agendas behind, seeking only His will for His church.
